Going to a town...

 

Je reviens de Munich, où j'ai pris cette photo en plein centre-ville, non loin du Deutsche Museum, au bord de l'Isar. 

It's hard to imagine how a European town in the 21st century can still be attached to local custom, so much so in fact that educated young people wear the traditional costume on nights out, or uphold the sausage and beer breakfast tradition in university halls of residence.

Je n'ai pas vraiment eu le temps ni l'occasion d'approfondir ce qui attache tous ces gens, jeunes ou vieux, à leurs "racines" bavaroises, d'autant que certaines ne sentent pas trop bon, mais une ville avec la campagne au beau milieu, c'est forcément un peu spécial. 

And who said the Germans are disciplined and always obey the rules?
